These diners, often featuring Streamline Moderne architecture, served as convenient and affordable dining destinations for commuters and residents alike, contributing to New Jersey's economy and cultural identity, with the state currently hosting approximately 525 diners. The resolution also respectfully requests the Governor to issue an annual proclamation encouraging public observance of this day.
