This bill requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) to ensure that all VA employees receive training developed by the VA Inspector General (IG) on reporting wrongdoing, responding to requests, and cooperating with the IG's Office. The training must cover the IG's role and responsibilities, mechanisms for reporting fraud and other misconduct, protections against retaliation, and opportunities to engage with the IG's staff. The bill also requires the IG to design and update the training as needed, and the Secretary to provide the training through the VA's talent management system. Additionally, the Secretary must ensure the IG can periodically notify all VA employees about the training and how to contact the IG's Office.
