This bill, the National Heritage Area Authority Extension Act of 2021, extends the authorizations for certain National Heritage Areas. Specifically, it: 1. Extends the authorization for 30 National Heritage Areas from 2021 to 2036, including areas like the Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor, the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, and the Tennessee Civil War Heritage Area. 2. Increases the authorized appropriations for several National Heritage Areas, such as the Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area, the Essex National Heritage Area, and the Ohio & Erie National Heritage Canalway. 3.
