This bill revises the data required to be reported by various criminal justice entities, including the clerk of the court, county detention facilities, and the Department of Corrections. It expands the definition of "sanctuary policy" to include policies that limit or prohibit law enforcement agencies from providing immigration information to state entities. The bill requires law enforcement agencies operating county detention facilities to enter into agreements with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to assist with immigration enforcement. Additionally, the bill prohibits governmental entities from executing, amending, or renewing contracts with common carriers or contracted carriers if the carrier is willfully transporting unauthorized aliens into Florida, except to facilitate their detention, removal, or departure.
