This bill authorizes the New Mexico Finance Authority to make loans from the Public Project Revolving Fund for various public projects, such as building, equipment, infrastructure, land acquisition, water, and transportation projects for a number of qualified entities across the state, including municipalities, school districts, universities, and other public organizations. The bill also includes a provision that voids the authorization for any project if the qualified entity does not certify its desire to continue pursuing the loan by the end of fiscal year 2025. Additionally, the bill declares an emergency, stating that it is necessary for the public peace, health, and safety that the act take effect immediately.
