This bill allows a judicial district convention to be conducted in whole or in part via video conference, provided that at least 72 hours' notice is given to the members of the respective committee by mail, email, text, or telephone call at an address or number expressly provided for receiving such notices. The notice must include instructions on how to access the video conference. Where the convention is held via video conference, the presiding officer must afford a fair and appropriate opportunity for eligible persons to listen, hear, and be heard, similar to an in-person meeting.
