This bill prohibits subjecting individuals to certain types of training, instruction, or required activities that promote certain concepts related to race, color, sex, or national origin as a condition of employment, membership, certification, licensing, credentialing, or passing an examination. It revises the requirements for health education instruction, including adding a focus on life skills and prohibiting instruction that contradicts principles of individual freedom. The bill also requires the approval of the Department of Education for professional development systems and prohibits instructional materials reviewers from recommending materials that contradict these principles. The bill takes effect on July 1, 2022.
