This bill would require that both paper and electronic affidavits of voter registration inform applicants that their signature on the registration affidavit may be compared with the signature on an identification envelope for a vote-by-mail ballot in a future election. The bill also specifies the information required for electronic voter registration submissions, including the applicant's driver's license or state ID number, date of birth, and the last four digits of their social security number. If an applicant cannot electronically submit the required information, they can still complete the affidavit electronically, print it, and mail or deliver the hard copy to the elections official.
