This bill requires long-term care facilities to submit reports regarding residents with disabilities. Under the bill, each long-term care facility is to report the total number of residents with a disability, the number of residents with each category of disability, which categories are to be determined by the Department of Health in consultation with the Department of Human Services, and the ranges in age of residents with each category of disability. Thereafter, a long-term care facility is to report to the Department of Health whenever there is a change in the total number of residents with a disability, the number of residents with each category of disability, and the ranges in age of residents with each category of disability. The bill defines "long-term care facility" to mean a nursing home, assisted living residence, comprehensive personal care home, residential health care facility, or dementia care home licensed pursuant to P.L.1971, c.136 (C.26:2H-1 et seq.).
