This bill requires the New Jersey Department of Agriculture to take various actions to publicize and promote community supported agriculture (CSA) in the state. Key provisions include: 1) Developing and implementing a program to promote CSA, including establishing a dedicated webpage, using various media to advertise CSA, and creating promotional labels for CSA products. 2) Establishing an annual "Community Supported Agriculture Week" to highlight the importance of CSA for both farmers and consumers. 3) Amending existing law to authorize the use of funds from the "New Jersey Farm Products Publicity Fund" for promoting CSA, in addition to the "Jersey Fresh" program and advertising New Jersey farm products. 4) Prohibiting the advertisement of products as being produced or sold through CSA unless they were actually marketed and sold that way, with penalties for violations. 5) Encouraging schools to participate in CSA programs and incorporate curriculum about CSA into their "Farm to School" programs.
