This bill requires municipalities bordering the Atlantic Ocean, tidal water bays, or rivers to provide free beach access to certain veterans, including those who have served at least 90 days in active duty or have been discharged or released from active duty due to a service-incurred injury or disability. The Adjutant General of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs will promulgate rules and regulations pertaining to veteran eligibility. The bill also allows municipalities to provide no fees or reduced fees for other groups, such as seniors, individuals with disabilities, active military personnel and their families, and Gold Star Family members.
