This bill: - Affirms that the right to be free from discrimination in employment, housing, business relationships, and places of public accommodation includes the right to be free from unlawful harassment based on any characteristic protected by the "Law Against Discrimination." - Codifies standards for hostile environment harassment claims, including that a reasonable person in the complainant's protected class would find the conduct sufficiently severe or pervasive to alter the conditions of employment and create an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. - Requires all employers to adopt written non-discrimination policies that establish policies and procedures concerning unlawful discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment, in the workplace. - Requires all employers to provide interactive training to employees on the prevention of unlawful discrimination and harassment in the workplace. - Requires certain employers to report annually to the Division on Civil Rights on complaints received regarding unlawful workplace discrimination or harassment. - Amends various definitions in the "Law Against Discrimination" to clarify the scope of protections, including expanding the definition of "employee" and "domestic work."
