This bill amends the Harm Reduction Act to expand the types of supplies or devices that can be provided to participants in harm reduction programs, such as materials for testing controlled substances for adulterants. It also clarifies that possession of these supplies or devices is not a violation of the Controlled Substances Act. The bill adjusts the duties of the Department of Health and the advisory committee overseeing the harm reduction program, including expanding the membership of the advisory committee. Additionally, the bill repeals two existing sections of the Harm Reduction Act.
