This bill appropriates $1.5 million from the general fund to the Office of Superintendent of Insurance to study and report on the potential adoption of the Health Security Act. The study will examine the costs, quality of care, and administrative requirements associated with adopting the Health Security Act, and the findings will be presented to the appropriate interim legislative committees. Any unspent or unencumbered funds will revert to the general fund at the end of fiscal year 2023.
