This bill adds to existing law to provide for the confidentiality of investigation records related to occupational licensing in Idaho. Specifically, it deems licensure, investigatory, and informal proceeding records as the property of the Division and exempt from public disclosure requirements. The bill also allows division boards and commissions to participate in joint investigations and share investigative materials, with the internal sharing of such records not altering any existing exemptions from disclosure. Additionally, the bill makes subpoenas issued by one division board or commission enforceable by any other division board or commission. The bill declares an emergency and states that it will go into effect on July 1, 2022.
