Bill Summary

This bill requires that any person holding an appointment, elective office, or employment with the State or any other public employer who is eligible for health care benefits from more than one public entity, because of another public appointment, office, or employment, choose to receive health care benefits from one public entity only. In addition, the person may not accept any amount of money in consideration for filing a waiver of health care benefits.
