This Memorial honors Reynaldo Miguel Flores, a lifelong resident of Pecos, New Mexico, recognizing his thirty years of exemplary service to the state. Born in 1933, Flores served as a military police officer in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955, including during the Korean conflict. He then dedicated his career to New Mexico state government, working at the penitentiary and the state highway and transportation department, and was a guard during the significant 1980 riot at the penitentiary. The memorial also acknowledges his marriage to Flora Algien and their five children.
