This bill prohibits employers from prohibiting employees from carrying, transporting, or possessing a firearm or ammunition in their locked motor vehicle on the real property comprising the employee's place of employment, as long as the firearm and ammunition are out of sight and the possession is otherwise lawful. The bill also provides immunity to the employer, owner, or lawful possessor of the property from any claim, cause of action, or lawsuit brought by any person seeking damages that are alleged, directly or indirectly, as a result of any firearm or ammunition brought onto the property by an employee pursuant to this bill.
