This bill amends and adds to existing Idaho law to provide for the production of mead, cider, and other fermented fruit juice beverages for personal use, and to allow for the use and storage of homemade beer, wine, and other fermented beverages at licensed premises in certain instances, such as for organized judging, tasting, exhibitions, contests, or competitions. The bill increases the annual production limits for homemade beer, wine, mead, cider, and other fermented beverages from 100 gallons to 200 gallons per household with two or more adults, or from 100 gallons to 100 gallons per household with one adult. The bill also specifies that the homemade beverages stored at licensed premises must be clearly identified, kept separate from the licensee's alcoholic beverage stock, and cannot be sold or made available to the general public.
