This bill appropriates $6 million from the bond proceeds fund to the public facilities authority for a grant to the city of Silver Lake to predesign, design, engineer, construct, and equip stormwater, wastewater, and drinking water infrastructure. The bill provides funding for improvements or replacement of municipal wastewater ponds, spray irrigation and sanitary sewer systems, storm sewer systems, and water main distribution systems to improve water quality, water flow, fire protection, and water accountability. The bill also authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $6 million to provide the appropriated funds.
