This bill amends the Public School Code of 1949 to require the Pennsylvania Department of Education to select and provide a supplemental mathematics program for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program must demonstrate experience in teaching mathematics, function as a flexible supplemental resource, and strengthen students' math fact fluency, computational thinking, and other critical skills. The department will make the program available for voluntary download by school entities, nonpublic schools, and home education supervisors at no cost, and will report annually on the number of entities that have downloaded the program.
