The bill allows exempt fire agencies to take measures to ensure their exempt employees are not impaired by cannabis, including pre-employment testing, random drug tests, and testing for cause. It also requires exempt employees who are prescribed cannabis for medical purposes to report the prescription to their agency for a determination of their fitness for duty.
