This bill amends the 1947 Public Employment Relations Act (PERA) to require public employers to provide the employment and contact information of their public employees to the employees' bargaining representatives. Specifically, the bill mandates that public employers must provide the name, department, job title, work location, home address, personal phone number, and personal email address of each public employee to the representative of that employee within 30 days of the employee's hire, and every 90 days thereafter. This is intended to ensure that bargaining representatives have up-to-date information to effectively communicate with and represent the public employees they serve.
