To require the reporting of satisfaction of judgments awarding money damages

This bill requires parties who obtain a judgment for money damages in small claims, civil, and summary process (eviction) cases to file a notice of satisfaction of judgment with the court within 60 days of fully satisfying the judgment. If a party fails to do so, the judgment debtor may be able to recover any reasonable costs and attorneys' fees incurred in proving the judgment was satisfied. The requirement does not apply to judgments that have been satisfied by a levy of execution.
