This bill appropriates funds to the Department of Health and Welfare for the Division of Medicaid for fiscal years 2022 and 2023. The bill provides funding for Medicaid administration and medical management, as well as for the Coordinated Medicaid Plan, Enhanced Medicaid Plan, Basic Medicaid Plan, and Expansion Medicaid Plan. It also sets a limit on the number of full-time equivalent positions for the Medicaid Administration and Medical Management Program, requires the department to provide a monthly Medicaid tracking report, allows for the transfer of funds between certain Medicaid programs, requires a report on the integration of managed care approaches, and mandates the implementation of cost-sharing for certain Medicaid-eligible services. The bill also includes emergency provisions to make it effective immediately upon passage and approval.
