This bill prohibits corporations, limited liability companies, and other corporate entities from making campaign contributions or providing loans, loan guarantees, or other security for loans to candidates or political committees, except for corporations that are political committees themselves. The bill also requires any loans made to candidates or political committees, other than constituted committees, to be repaid by the date of the election, or they will be considered contributions. The bill does not apply to independent expenditure committees.
