Bill Summary
This bill requires long-term care facilities to stock and provide COVID-19 antiviral treatments to their residents. Under this bill, a long-term care facility will maintain an adequate supply of antiviral treatment for COVID-19 on site for its residents. The long-term care facility will provide any resident, who has tested positive for COVID-19 and is symptomatic, antiviral treatment for COVID-19. The bill defines "long-term care facility" to mean a nursing home or assisted living residence licensed pursuant to P.L.1971, 41 c.136 (C.26:2H-1 et seq.).
