This bill, the "Disclosing Foreign Influence in Lobbying Act," amends the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 to require lobbyists to disclose the name and address of any foreign government (including any agency or subdivision, such as a regional or municipal unit) and foreign political party, other than the client, that participates in directing, planning, supervising, or controlling the lobbyist's lobbying activities. This is an addition to the existing requirements for lobbyists to disclose information such as the client, issues lobbied, and any past criminal offenses.
