This bill amends Pennsylvania's Crimes and Offenses statute to provide new definitions for "rifle," "semiautomatic assault rifle," and "semiautomatic rifle." It also prohibits the sale or transfer of a semiautomatic assault rifle to an individual under 21 years of age, and imposes a third-degree felony penalty and license revocation for three years on any licensed dealer, manufacturer, or importer who knowingly sells such a rifle to an unqualified or ineligible person. The bill takes effect 60 days after enactment.
