This bill amends the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2020 to impose additional sanctions relating to human rights abuses in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Specifically, it requires the President to identify in the required report any foreign person that knowingly provides significant goods, services, or technology to a person identified in the report, or that knowingly engages in a significant transaction related to the human rights abuses described in the report. The amendments made by this bill take effect on the date of enactment and apply to reports submitted before, on, or after that date.
