The guidance must be developed in consultation with maternal health organizations, ensure adherence to hygienic standards, and apply to both TSA and private security screening personnel. The bill also requires the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General to conduct an audit of compliance with these new requirements and assess the impact of screening technologies on these items.
