This bill, the Determination of NEPA Adequacy Streamlining Act, directs the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to use previously completed environmental assessments and environmental impact statements to satisfy the review requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for certain proposed projects, including transmission projects, pipeline facilities for energy resources, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, or natural gas, and renewable energy facilities, if the new proposed action is substantially the same as a previously analyzed action and the effects are also substantially the same. The bill defines key terms such as "renewable energy facility" and "Secretary concerned" to clarify the scope and application of the provisions.
