This bill modifies the provisions relating to the selling of raw milk or cream in Missouri. It repeals and replaces Sections 196.931 and 196.935 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. The key changes include: (1) defining a new category of "Grade A retail raw milk or cream" that can be sold to grocery stores, restaurants, and other establishments, as long as it is properly labeled with a warning about potential health risks; (2) allowing individuals to purchase and receive raw milk or cream directly from farms for their own use; and (3) requiring that any dairy farm producing Grade A retail raw milk or cream must have its herd accredited or certified as tuberculosis-free and brucellosis-free by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
