This bill modifies provisions regarding elementary and secondary education in Missouri. It prohibits school districts from teaching about The 1619 Project, critical race theory, or any divisive concepts that promote stereotyping or assigning blame based on race or sex. The bill requires schools to display online all instructional and training materials used for staff and student instruction, and gives parents certain rights to review curricular materials, access information about teachers and outside presenters, and be notified of school safety incidents. The bill also allows school districts to prohibit students of the male sex from participating in school-sponsored athletic teams exclusively for students of the female sex.
