AI Summary
This bill would, until January 1, 2031, authorize the Department of Cannabis Control to issue provisional licenses for local equity applicants engaging in cannabis retailer activities, even if they have not completed all the requirements for an annual license. The bill would allow the department to renew these provisional licenses until the annual license is issued or denied, or up to 5 years from the original issuance, whichever is earlier.
