AI Summary

This bill amends South Carolina's Code of Laws to reduce the percentage of time that inmates who have committed "no parole offenses" must serve before becoming eligible for early release, discharge, or community supervision. Specifically, for certain drug offenses, the bill reduces the required percentage from 85% to 65%. This reduction applies retroactively to inmates currently incarcerated, subject to any additional requirements or restrictions.
