This bill amends the Tennessee Code Annotated to make changes related to the Tennessee public charter school commission. Specifically, it removes a provision that previously listed the Tennessee public charter school commission as one of the entities that is considered a "board, commission, agency, or authority" of the state. It then adds the Tennessee public charter school commission as a new subdivision to the list of entities that are considered "boards, commissions, agencies, or authorities" of the state. The bill states that it takes effect upon becoming a law.
