This bill amends the General Construction Law to allow for the online publication of public notices, in addition to the existing requirement to publish in a newspaper. The online news publication must provide general interest news on a daily basis to a defined geographic location and have been continuously published for at least one year prior to the date of the notice. All other requirements and stipulations for the publication of the notice would still apply, except for the requirement that it be published in a newspaper.
