This bill creates a new section of the Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) Chapter 2 to allow the "Freedom Flag" to be flown as a "Flag of Remembrance" each September 11, which is known as Patriot Day. The Freedom Flag is described in detail, with the blue background representing Americans united for freedom, the white star representing those who lived and died for freedom, the five white bars surrounding the star representing the Pentagon and the protection of American freedom, and the three white stripes, two narrow red stripes, and two broad red stripes on the outer portion representing the rescue workers, the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the loss of life on 9/11.
