This bill exempts certain motor vehicles more than ten years old and sold for less than $25,000 from sales tax. Specifically, the bill adds a new provision to the existing sales tax law to exclude from taxation the sale of motor vehicles that are more than 10 years old and sold for a purchase price of less than $25,000. This change is intended to provide a sales tax exemption for older, lower-cost vehicles.
