This bill appropriates $1.3 million from the consumer settlement fund of the New Mexico Attorney General's office to the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration. The funds will be used to fund integrated substance use disorder programs in San Miguel County from fiscal years 2023 through 2025. Any remaining balance at the end of fiscal year 2025 will revert back to the consumer settlement fund. The bill also declares this act necessary for the public peace, health, and safety, and that it should take effect immediately.
