AI Summary

This bill enacts the "Student Journalist Free Speech Act" to protect the free speech and freedom of the press rights of student journalists at public high schools. The bill allows student journalists to determine the content of school-sponsored media, prohibits prior restraint on such content except for limited exemptions, and protects student media advisors from retaliation for actions taken in good faith to enforce the law. The exemptions include content that is libelous, an invasion of privacy, violates the law, or incites unlawful acts that would disrupt school operations.
