This bill prohibits the confidentiality of settlement agreements between a public body and any other party in Mississippi. It creates a new section in the Mississippi Public Records Act to explicitly state that the terms of such settlements cannot be made confidential, and no court can order the sealing of any records containing the settlement terms.
