This bill establishes two new sections in Missouri's statutes. The first section prohibits political subdivisions (such as counties or municipalities) from requiring a property owner to have a home inspection conducted on a residential property before selling it, with the exception of new construction or occupancy permits. The second section prohibits counties, municipalities, or other political subdivisions from imposing or enforcing a moratorium on eviction proceedings, unless specifically authorized by state law.
