This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to allow resident nonpublic school students, including home school students, to fully participate in extracurricular activities offered by public schools on the same basis as public school students. The bill requires school boards to permit nonpublic school students to participate in these activities, and specifies that the costs of extracurricular activities must be recorded and reserved in the same manner as other school district revenues and expenditures.
