This bill requires meetings of the Minnesota Historical Society's executive council, when discussing, making decisions, or receiving information related to state-owned historic sites, state-owned historic places, or state-owned places on the National Register of Historic Places, to be open to the public under the Open Meeting Law (Chapter 13D). Additionally, the bill designates data maintained by the Minnesota Historical Society related to these state-owned properties as public data, as defined in the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act (Section 13.02, subdivisions 14 and 15).
