This bill amends the Town Law and Public Officers Law to authorize the town justice of the Town of Rushford in Allegany County, New York, to be a non-resident of the town. Specifically, the bill allows the town justice in Rushford to reside in another town within Allegany County, while maintaining their position as the town justice. This is an exception to the general requirement that a town justice must be an elector (i.e., resident) of the town they serve.
