This bill expresses the Legislature's intent to transfer and appropriate funds for workforce and affordable housing initiatives for fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25. * The Legislature intends to transfer $25 million from the General Fund for fiscal year 2023-24 and $25 million from the General Fund for fiscal year 2024-25 to the Rural Workforce Housing Investment Fund to provide grants for workforce housing. * The Legislature intends to appropriate $25 million from the General Fund for fiscal year 2023-24 and $25 million from the General Fund for fiscal year 2024-25 to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund. This funding will be used for loans, grants, subsidies, credit enhancements, and other financial assistance for community affordable housing projects, as well as for the Department of Economic Development's administrative expenses for the fund.
