The bill expands the list of enumerated offenses that trigger the firearm prohibition, including new offenses such as murder of an unborn child, voluntary manslaughter of an unborn child, trafficking in individuals, and certain sexual offenses. The bill also adds language related to the use of firearms in the commission of certain crimes, such as terroristic threats and retaliation against witnesses or prosecutors. Finally, the bill adds a provision prohibiting certain types of ammunition.
