This bill appropriates $1,200,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board for a grant to Minnesota Independent School District No. 318 to design and construct the renovation and expansion of the Bigfork Public School. The funding can be used to add a community strength training, fitness and wellness center, public restrooms accessible from the multi-use Bigfork RiverWalk Trail, and new locker rooms and related amenities for the Bigfork School. The school district may enter into a lease or management agreement for the project. The bill also authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,200,000 to provide the appropriated funds.
